Who it may suit
- Practices that want a low-cost standalone scaler for hygiene rooms or as a second unit, with an LED handpiece and a bottle-fed water system (no tap-water connection needed).
- Teams that also want an endo function (an ultrasonic file holder and endo wrench are part of the system).
- It may be less suited to practices that need documentation in their own language or a current manufacturer manual, or that prefer the large tip ranges and service networks of other brands. Woodpecker's manual requires Woodpecker-brand tips.

Frequently asked questions
Does it have an endo function?
Yes: the manual describes an endo mode with an endochuck and ultrasonic files; start at the first power level and raise gradually. [1]
Can I use another brand's tips?
The manual states that only Woodpecker-brand scaling tips should be used. Some distributors describe the tips as compatible with other brands; that is a distributor claim, so confirm before assuming cross-brand use. [1]
Is it autoclavable?
The detachable handpiece, LED lamp and light pipe can be autoclaved at 135 °C and 0.22 MPa; follow the manual for cleaning the control unit and cables. [1]
Who should not be treated?
The manual lists haemophilia patients and people with a heart pacemaker (patients or operators) as contraindicated, and asks for caution with heart-disease patients, pregnant women and children. [1]
