EMS AIRFLOW Handy 3.0 / Handy 3.0 PLUS
EMS's portable air-polishing handpiece. It connects to the turbine coupling of the dental unit and runs on the unit's air and water, with no separate console. EMS offers a Classic handpiece for supragingival work (AIRFLOW COMFORT and SOFT powders) and a PLUS handpiece, used with AIRFLOW PLUS powder, for the whole visible tooth surface and periodontal pockets up to 4 mm. Refilling uses EMS's EASY-FILL system.
EMS AIRFLOW One
EMS's air-polishing-only tabletop unit for its Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) workflow. It runs the AIRFLOW MAX handpiece (supragingival) and the PERIOFLOW MAX handpiece (subgingival and peri-implant pockets) from a touch panel, with two powder chambers (CLASSIC and PLUS). EMS positions it for practices that already have a PIEZON NO PAIN scaler module.
Hu-Friedy PWR Air
Hu-Friedy's tabletop air polisher. It combines compressed air, heated water and powder, with a touch screen, a foot pedal and slim stainless-steel handpieces (90°, 120° and Perio). Hu-Friedy lists two powder chambers (Prophy and Perio), a one-touch Perio function that lowers air pressure, refilling without switching off, an automatic flush when switching powders and a "no powder" function. It is an air polisher only: it does not scale.
KaVo PROPHYflex 4
KaVo's air-polishing handpiece for the dental unit. It attaches to a KaVo MULTIflex (LUX) or MULTIflex LED coupling (KaVo's page also names the Sirona click'n go coupling) and runs on the unit's air and water. KaVo positions it for supra- and subgingival work: a standard cannula with three powder-quantity levels, and an optional Perio Kit (slim perio tip with depth markings and glycine Perio Powder) for pockets and implants.
NSK Prophy-Mate neo
Air-powered tooth-polishing system for supragingival plaque and stain removal. It is not a console: the handpiece and its powder case connect to the dental unit's air and water line through a coupling, so you need a compatible coupling on the unit.
